Seattle International Foundation's Global Program was designed to provide resources to non-profits based in Washington state working to alleviate poverty in developing countries. Organizations based outside of Washington State are not eligible to apply. Please review our 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 grantee portfolios for more information about our grantees.
The program is open to 501(c) 3 organizations, or those with fiscal sponsorship, with an annual organizational or project budget of less than $2 million (USD). The program seeks to support organizations launching new projects, or working to establish or expand an international project or program. Organizations may apply for up to $15,000 (USD) annually.
Round 2 of the Global Program opens on Monday, September 8, 2014. Grants provided through this round will be announced on November 20th at SIF's 5th Annual Women in the World Breakfast. Preference will be given to organizations working with women and girls in developing countries.

Past Grantees: Please keep in mind that future requests for funding are not eligible until SIF staff have received a final narrative report, financial statement, current IRS 990 form, and photos documenting the project funded. All final reports are due within three months of the project concluding, or within one year of the grant, allowing time for review by SIF staff prior to the next funding cycle.
