Join us in creating a memorable experience for grassroots leaders during their time in Seattle!
About the Program: A group of 16 women from around Central America and the Dominican Republic will be coming to Seattle this summer for specialized training on how domestic violence is addressed in Washington state. This program is an opportunity for these exceptional leaders to engage in meaningful dialogue with leaders working on related issues in our community. It is also an opportunity for them to share and connect with local homestay families.

Homestay Dates: The group arrives to Seattle on Saturday, August 23rd and departs on Saturday, August 30th. We recognize the 30th is Labor Day weekend and we are more than happy to accommodate homestay families’ vacation plans. Homestay responsibilities include providing breakfast in the morning, sharing a couple of dinners in the evening throughout the week, and potentially providing transportation to downtown Seattle (if possible).
